Helpful staff. Reasonable-ish pricing. They had to come back twice because the actual problem wasn't diagnosed properly (first the transformer was replaced, but the actual problem was the wiring on the roof). This was noticed after I tried turning on the AC after the first visit. A little expensive overall between the two visits, but they got the job done. They knew our condo building well, so that helped.

GB Services was great to work with! Mark came out to assess our basement apartment in a timely manner and provided us with options and a recommendation for what we could do. Once we had a quote, Mark also spoke directly with us several times to answer our questions and provided very detailed and thorough answers. We decided to go with them because the quote was reasonable and the customer service was great. The installation of a ductless system also went well. From the moment I first called last summer I have been constantly impressed with every person I came in contact with from GB Services from those I talked to on the phone to the 4 different technicians we've met. We had an AC system completely replaced last week and the experience exceeded expectations. They came out the day before to walk through and make sure they had everything they needed, the day of they laid down cushions and tarps to make sure they didn't mess up the floors, they put new booties on every time they came in and out, they kept me informed all day with what they were doing, they took their time to make sure everything was perfect and went over everything in detail before leaving. I seriously can not recommend this company enough, it is extremely unique to find a company where every single employee is courteous, kind, and helpful.

Called them up because of the yelp review. Even though the wait was long for them to come out because it's Summer, I was happy I chose their services. They showed up early and gave me options of what I could do with my "original" AC. The invoice they gave me would not have been matched elsewhere based on calls I made to other vendors. It was very fair.

      One of the most honest and forthcoming companies I've ever worked with. Another wonderful factor is that everyone in this company communicates with each other so the frustration of getting a different answer has never occurred, which gives me such piece of mind that I don't have to figure out why I'm getting conflicting information like so many other companies.

      Wow. Wow. Wow.  We had a big HVAC project and are so glad we hired GB Services. They removed our old HVAC system and all of our old ductwork, redesigned the ventilation pattern in our home to make it more comfortable, added a zoned area of the house, installed all new ductwork and the new system, and moved the compressor to the other side of the house.  Mark, the owner, was very accessible for questions when we were making initial decisions and even came to the house to work on one of the days.  His crew, John and Wesley, were such nice people and very professional and competent.  They worked hard at our house for several days.  John was the one who redesigned our ductwork and ventilation system, and he treated us and our home like we were family.  He is an HVAC artist.  This really is no exaggeration -- our new system is beautifully planned and installed.  He takes pride in his workmanship and is a perfectionist.  We are all missing them now that the project is done.  Our home has had the new system for two days, and I cannot tell you the difference it has made.  It's like a different house.  I don't think that any of the other companies we talked with would have done half as good a job.  We are thrilled.

    Update: we are saving hundreds of dollars each month in our electric and gas bills. We are also more comfortable. Our old system was , well, old... so we expected some improvement but this exceeds our wildest expectations.

      Alex did a great job with my biannual service call. I am relatively new to GB SERVICES. He made sure the hearting/air conditioning unit was working properly and changed the filter. He was very professional and courteous. I look forward to the next service call. Thank you, Alex!

      I Would recommend using GB services. Mark and Brandy are super helpful, responsive and understanding. They believe in quality customer service and it shows in how they take care of their customers. I had a routine maintenance servicing and needed them to come back out to check on something, they arrived the next day and made sure everything was in working order. Mark was available to answer questions and Brandy was great at proving updates on the techs location and schedule. Please consider using them for your hvac needs,I will be a return customer for sure!

      They may be good.  However, they do not respect your time.  I had an appointment scheduled for over a week.  But, they never showed or even called.  Received an email later stating that they cancelled the day before.    We totally rearrange are schedule for these contractors.  I just wish they would have the same consideration for our time.

      Bought a new condo in December. First time we turned on the A/C we discovered there was no cool  air coming out.  Found GB Services through Yelp.   They came out, inspected the unit which was almost 20 years old and explained patiently and clearly why it needed to be replaced.  
    They submitted several "quotes" that gave us a variety of options suited to our situation. We picked the one we thought best (not the most expensive by the way).
    We were not in a hurry since the weather was  still cool so a week after the decision was made they showed up on the appointed day at the appointed time.  They laid out drop cloths over our floors, hauled out the old unit without leaving any mess behind, and installed the new  unit.
    They were clean, friendly and efficient.
    We would definitely recommend them to anyone needing HAVC  service.

      Techie ("Chris") was on time for semi-annual Fall service. He was thorough,  knowledgable, conscientious, affable. Provided understandable answers to my incessant questions.
    Furnace & heat pump (Carrier) purchased Nov. 2018. G.B.'s quote for equipment was better than other name brand provider and equipment, so far, has performed w/o any issues.

      I agree with the other reviews on here. Mark and his crew are top notch. He is honest and straightforward plus they did a great job with installing a new A/C unit for my condo. He provided me with 4 pricing options and was able to answer any questions I had.

    He also visiting another property I own and inspected a furnace that another company (with lots of TV ads which don't live up to the company's name) told me needed to be replaced. There was nothing wrong with the unit! Thanks Mark for your honest and thorough evaluation. I'll be sure to call you in the future if I ever need anything.
