Helpful staff. Reasonable-ish pricing. They had to come back twice because the actual problem wasn't diagnosed properly (first the transformer was replaced, but the actual problem was the wiring on the roof). This was noticed after I tried turning on the AC after the first visit. A little expensive overall between the two visits, but they got the job done. They knew our condo building well, so that helped.

GB Services was great to work with! Mark came out to assess our basement apartment in a timely manner and provided us with options and a recommendation for what we could do. Once we had a quote, Mark also spoke directly with us several times to answer our questions and provided very detailed and thorough answers. We decided to go with them because the quote was reasonable and the customer service was great. The installation of a ductless system also went well. From the moment I first called last summer I have been constantly impressed with every person I came in contact with from GB Services from those I talked to on the phone to the 4 different technicians we've met. We had an AC system completely replaced last week and the experience exceeded expectations. They came out the day before to walk through and make sure they had everything they needed, the day of they laid down cushions and tarps to make sure they didn't mess up the floors, they put new booties on every time they came in and out, they kept me informed all day with what they were doing, they took their time to make sure everything was perfect and went over everything in detail before leaving. I seriously can not recommend this company enough, it is extremely unique to find a company where every single employee is courteous, kind, and helpful.

Called them up because of the yelp review. Even though the wait was long for them to come out because it's Summer, I was happy I chose their services. They showed up early and gave me options of what I could do with my "original" AC. The invoice they gave me would not have been matched elsewhere based on calls I made to other vendors. It was very fair.

      Techie ("Chris") was on time for semi-annual Fall service. He was thorough,  knowledgable, conscientious, affable. Provided understandable answers to my incessant questions.
    Furnace & heat pump (Carrier) purchased Nov. 2018. G.B.'s quote for equipment was better than other name brand provider and equipment, so far, has performed w/o any issues.

      I have been way overdue in writing this review...But that doesn't mean we were not thrilled with  Mark and his team. I am so glad I found GB Services! We recently purchased a "renovated" home that was a mess, especially the HVAC. We had just moved back to the area so didn't have a team of trusted ppl to help with the repairs, advice, etc. We were overwhelmed and getting tons of crazy quotes and conflicting info. Mark stepped in and was able to troubleshoot things not only wrong with our HVAC system but also our non-functioning brand new hot water heater, insulation, etc. These were repairs he was not going to perform but helped me understand what we needed to do or not do. We would trust Mark with any repair and consider him our expert. Also, Joey and John put in our new system and did a great job, such a pleasure to work with these guys. And can't forget Judy that runs the office/scheduling, always friendly and helpful. Seriously, if you are trying to find solid HVAC experts/team that care and treat you like close friends look no further! We love these guys!!!

      Bought a new condo in December. First time we turned on the A/C we discovered there was no cool  air coming out.  Found GB Services through Yelp.   They came out, inspected the unit which was almost 20 years old and explained patiently and clearly why it needed to be replaced.  
    They submitted several "quotes" that gave us a variety of options suited to our situation. We picked the one we thought best (not the most expensive by the way).
    We were not in a hurry since the weather was  still cool so a week after the decision was made they showed up on the appointed day at the appointed time.  They laid out drop cloths over our floors, hauled out the old unit without leaving any mess behind, and installed the new  unit.
    They were clean, friendly and efficient.
    We would definitely recommend them to anyone needing HAVC  service.

      I found GB Services for an IT closet cooler at work. They've proven themselves much better than the last vendor and I also signed up for their contract at my home. It would be nice if they scheduled visits automatically as part of their contracts. But as long as you set reminders so you can call and schedule regular service you're good. When a small unit at work lost a compressor they were super honest about it not being worth replacing because of cost. They also recommended I get the replacement online because it isn't something they purchase so would cost more getting from them. Great service for over a year now and don't plan on switching.

      Thorough courteous and consistent service.  Wierd, but with my service contract, I still have to provide my own filters. My previous HVAC contract included filters, but they were JUST changing filters, not doing all the other techie stuff that GB does.

      GB was great! Their visit fee is half as much as the company I was using and were very upfront about costs. My AC was out on the hottest day of the year. Chris couldn't have tried harder to ensure it was fixed. He even followed up several times that day to make sure it was working! I couldn't recommend them more!

      Had an incredible positive experience. Mark, the owner of the business, came personally to check my furnace problem, explored all the options with maximum benefits to me and probably even less advantageous for him. In the end when i asked him about a proposal for a new furnace gave a prompt and very honest bid. Moreover, gave a fair comparison with other furnaces and conceded that the price range i was looking for would be better accommodated by a competitive brand. Charged me nothing for the visit, though other companies asked for a service call fee. He finally did not get the order, but found a loyal potential customer for future.

      I've met various craftsman from the UK, and from my past experiences they are much more knowledgeable and professional than an above average handyman in the US. They know their trade.

    The bloke who came to service my HVAC was no exception. He fixed the problem w/ my HVAC in under an hour after the first crumby company couldn't figure it out at all. Sadly, these guys don't do work for my (or any) home warranty company, so you'll have to come out of your own pocket. If I'm spending my own money, I'll go back to them in a second.

    The only knock on these guys is they don't work on the weekends (the best don't have to, I suppose). I had a minor issue with my bill, but the Company was very reasonable in sorting the issue out with me.

      My experience was very good, not at all what I was expecting.

    They always called when they were on their way, and were always on time or within a few minutes of the scheduled appointment. They fixed our issue and checked out the entire system, also giving me pointers on maintenance and things I should do myself.

    Overall very pleased with the service!
